Passive Skills and classes are only going to get you so far in Octopath Traveler. As every person who’s beaten the game will tell you, the gear is what makes the biggest difference at the end of the day. So here’s my recommended gear for everyone! One thing that’s important to know is that, besides Olberic, most of your other characters probably won’t be attacking with weapons very much, so you don’t have to get perfect weapons for them if you don’t want to. The only exception to this is Alfyn and H’aanit, who really need the Double Tomahawk. I chose to grab good weapons for everyone just in case, but it’s up to your personal preference. Also, don’t worry about trying to figure out where and how to find all of this stuff: that’s covered in a later section of this guide!
